It seems to be a tradition so to speak that when we go to visit Papa Rey as a family we send off ballons. We say something to Rey and let it go. Every time no matter if its in april on his birthday or in october when he passed the balloons always head towards the canyon -which is where Rey loved to be. Roz and Cam said a thought out loud. I liked what Cam. He said that he didnt think that dad would want everyone making this day such a sad depressing day every year. That we should be celebrating his life and doing something enjoyable together as a family. I think that is the best way we could honor his life! I got pictures of Brinners sitting on the headstones. I took some last year that turned out so good that I had to get some again ( despite Cam giving me crap for wasting the battery on his camera!)

I totally agree, it should be a happy day! He's in such a better place now and probably so so much happier to be free from everything that weighed him down throughout his life. Love the pictures!
