After Conference we left my parents house and came back home to hang out with aunt danica and uncle jake. Danica, Brinley and I gathered into the kitchen and Dani and I made cookies while brinley made cookies in her own mixing bowl. By the time we were done I had brown sugar all over my floor and Brinley had brown sugar in her hair. Things ended with a messy kitchen and cookies that in my opinion didnt turn out. But the boys loved the dough and Brinley loved making cookies so it was all worth it!! President Monsen mentioned today as I have heard many others say we rarely remember to enjoy the little things as we are going through them. As young moms we stress about the toys everywhere and the piles of laundry but some day we will miss having those toys and having someones laundry to do. I am trying to enjoy the little experiences with Brinley and in doing that they become more meaningful to me. I love you Brinley and am so lucky to be your mom! Thanks for making cookies with me!!
