I do not consider myself the crafty type but lately I have been trying to go out of my comfort zone and do more crafty things for Brinleys sake. I wish that I had gotten into crafting a long time ago. The memories made are so worth it! We invited Steph, Sal and Isaak over and we made salt dough ornaments, and decorated sugar cookies. We put red, green and yellow food coloring in the salt dough instead of painting the ornaments after they baked.

Brinners waiting to start

Cutting out shapes

Playing with the left over dough!

Baking the ornaments

Sugar Cookies frosted and sprinkled

Getting cleaned up after playing with salt dough

Brinners decided to grace us with a song while we were cutting out the ornaments, luckily Sal recorded it...

NOW BRINLEY PETERSON SINGING HER RENDITION OF FROSTY THE SNOWMAN

Thanks guys for spending the evening with us and making memories we will never forget!

We had a lot of fun with you guys too! It was a fun idea. I like the idea to, for us to get together every couple weeks or so and do a fun craft with the kids since they will be stuck indoors as soon as it snows! Isaak loves their snowmen they made, we need to make gingerbread men next!
