I have been feeling overwhelmed by all that I had to do as a mom of 2, how my job doesnt allow me to clock out and go home or call in sick, or quit if I dont feel able to do it anymore. I honestly was feeling a little resentment towards brett, that he got to leave the home and his job allowed him to clock out and call in sick. That he doesn't have to get up with kids in the middle of the night and if one of them cries and he cant console them, he gets to hand them off and doesn't have to resolve the issue. Then on halloween he said we are always rushing around on holidays. I thought WELCOME TO MY WORLD. But this week I took some time to watch all that he did. I am SOOOOOO lucky to have him. In the last two days he has besides gone to work for 10 hrs, taught a merit badge class, went at 10 pm to look at my sisters car and try and diagnose the problem. Got home at midnight and woke up at 8 and went back out to finish fixing my sister's car. Went grocery shopping with me, put dry wall up at my parents house, came home and finished diagnosing my sister's other car and then hung some new decorations id bought. And being a dad and a husband to a pretty difficult wife. He unselfishly gives of his time and talents which to be honest I have sometimes been annoyed with- but I see now It is one of his best qualities. He genuinely wants to help those around him if its within his power. I wonder how often we take for granted those types of people in our lives that bless us on a regular basis. I am very grateful for all that he does to bless me, our girls and our family and friends.

Your very lucky. He's a good man. I know where your coming from though. Its only natural to feel that way.
Haha..It's a little sad that the extremely busy schedule he had involved my cars 3 TIMES. there is something wrong there
All stay at home moms are lying if they haven't at least a few times wanted to switch roles. I would love to get out of my house more too and get a paycheck! Great husbands are a wonderful thing! Ya Dani way to take up all Kira's time with Brett!! jk
Being a mom is very hard work. Its great we have our men and family for support. Other wise I'm sure I would end up in the looney bin. Dad's are a very important rock in the family and Brett does a good job.
