I wanted to put Brinley in pre-school this year and I found a place I felt would be great, yet I felt a little iffy. I asked Brinley and she wasn't totally on board with the idea either. So I decided against it for this year and turned my attention towards finding learning tools I could use at home. My mom still has the My First Steps to Reading series and has pulled some out for Brinley to look at and she seemed to really like them. So I started looking around online and found a set on E Bay since these books are no longer in print. We got them today and it was so cool sitting down pulling them out of the box and there was just this sense of familiarity and happiness that came with each book. I am SO excited to share this piece of my childhood with my kids!

ahh... the memories!
Did any else have this series growing up??
