Pres-a-bug is 5 months!

Every day I wonder how we lived without this little girl in our lives. She is such a joy! Im sure I have said this before, but there is NOTHING better than watching your children interact. My girls love each other and Presley misses Brinley when Brinners has sleepovers with Grandparents. Why i am not sure, since Brinley attacks as soon as Presley opens her eyes in the morning! Presley allows Brinley to just crawl all over her, take her pictures, pick her up and does it without much complaining. But she does hold her ground when she wants a toy Brinley has or she doesn't like the show Brinley is watching. This girl is laid back but knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let us know!

a few new things about Pres-a-bug this month

* She can sit up on her own for a minute some times more.

* she still hasn't cut the tooth she has been working on for 2 1/2 months

* she likes Baby Einstein movies.. thank heavens for that cause i am pretty sick of Mickey Mouse!

*she LOVES when Brinley takes her picture and will always smile in the pictures Brinley takes!

*She wants solid foods BAD. she tries to sneak Brett's Pepsi or Dr. pepper when no one is looking and the other day we were out to dinner and Brett put his pasta on the table and she dove into it. I think my goal of solely nursing for 1 yr isn't realistic with her. I'm having a hard time holding out for 6 months

* she wont sleep or settle down without her binky and still wont sleep unless her face is completely covered by a blanket.

*she doesnt like socks, just like her mom and sister.

* She has super sensitive skin. I just had to change our laundry detergent to unscented and dye free. fun parts of being a parent i guess.. no more yummy Gain smelling clothes :(
